What AI does
We use AI-assisted tools to help research, gather and draft coverage from public, named sources. AI helps us cover more of local Australia at a scale a small team could not reach on its own.
What people do
People set the standards, review flagged content and are accountable for what we publish. AI does not decide, on its own, what is true or what goes live. Content that fails our sourcing, accuracy or risk checks is held for human review.
What we will not do
We do not fabricate sources, quotes, statistics or bylines, and we do not publish AI-generated opinion presented as reporting. We do not make ranking or superiority claims about ourselves.
